hi all, stuck on taking greenford fort

i can eventually destroy and land the men, but its got over 3000 men, and when I land i've got 2or3 men which last all of 10 secs.

how you supposed to do it?

This is a stab in the dark (I can't recall having any difficulties at that stage), but maybe you need more ships and hence more sailors for when you storm the fort. If you've got 4 fully manned battleships, once the attack begins the odds should be more even.

You should be able tew take the fort wid a single battleship,de most soldiers I've had tew fight in de fort was about 5 or 6 wid help from 3 or 4 crewmembers but at be wid build 10.1,I've not done it yet wid build 11

ive donit i ahd a corvette sat_frigate aanother frigate and a man of war. i only had a bout four sailors with me plowed right through the english.

well last time I did it, I went in with 3 battleships fully stocked, I get 3 crewman against 4 english. I usually loose 1 guy. next bit i end up facing 4 english again and end up losing 1 guy, and same on the next bit. by the time i'm on the 4th level, its me against about 8 english and i last about 3 secs.

they kinda surround me and hit me from all sides. i'll look for a place to hide and try to bottleneck them.

Yes, the best way to handle multiple attackers is to get them into a bottleneck where perhaps only two are swinging at you at the same time - use your block, and wait for them to both swing at once, then hit one of them... Continue this, and you will survive.

Hello, I need a little help i dont know if it is just me but all the time I attack the fort or any fort there hp stays at 100. I can sit there and pown on it untill both of my ships ad dead and nothing will happen it stays at 100 all the time am i doing some thing wrong? [/center]

Markeh has it right, MANUALLY (first person on deck with the targeter) aim for the top of the walls of the fort and fire - you should be able to make a difference. OH, and use cannonballs, they have greater range (so you can stay further back from the fort) and will do more damage to the fort.
