Help please

i have just taken the greenford port in the danielle quest. the english attack me every time i enter oxbay and redmond, but not greenford. can anyone tell me why this is. i am a hero, and a captain with the english.

have completed the daniell quest, talked to the new gov in redmond and gotten letter of marquise, reputation is hero and have raised rank with british to captain, but the guards in redmond and oxbay still attack me and none of the shopkeepers in oxbay will sell to me, they just cower when i approach.

If you want peace with the English go to a pirate town visit the tavern and talk to a diplomat he sit's on a bank(i don't know how to say it in English right now)talk to him and he will deal with it.

For this I believe you must talk to a house resident (go into a house in each of those towns until you find one) and ask for help making the guards friendly.

Guard friendliness / hostility is tracked seperately from _nation_ relations.
