Need Help Governer Quest! "Sink Pirate Vessel"

Another issue to solve!

I took one of the Governers "Sink Blah Blah Vessel" quests. And every time I look around the island, there is no Pirate Sloop for me to sink. It's just not there, but I always get the "DirectSailing Disabled".. Despite there being no ship at all!

What realism mode are you on? Those quests have always worked for me.

Uh.. Not Iron Man.. Not the Arcade-y one.. The normal, default middle one! It's not that it didn't work. I sailed to it, then it ran away.. :< Now it's gone forever. And I couldn't "Sail-To" to catch it since "This ship is outpacing you."

Jeez, this was in a thread below this one, I just didn't spot it my mah bad eyesight.

Literally, that's my problem right there.. Guess I'll just reload a previous save.. My promotion.. It'll be gone.

One thing you can try.... Go back to port, then to sea again. That should reset the target ship closer to the shore again.
