My highest ever is about 28 000 000 000, explioting the "Money Monk" cheat. At the moment, though, Im on 7 000 000 or so. I have had about 20 -30 million or so in the games I have played. I put money with the loan shark's so the money gains interest. As your skill level goes up you gain more interest, which peaks at 11%. When I sell a ship or its cargo some of the money goes to the bank (loanshark). Money builds up quickly and I have a ready supply of cash on each island should I need it.Heh... Looting people can give you tonnes of cash, especially if you face the French forces that come to attack you in Oxbay when your leaving with the spy. Once, I had 'bout 57 bosuns choices due to that sort of thing.

The sums you get are big, true, but I suppose that´s because they´re not Dubloons but Reales. A Reale is 1/8th Piece of Eight and a Piece of Eight is 1/16th Dubloon, because a Piece of Eight is pecisely one ounce of silver and a Dubloon one ounce of gold, and gold is valued sixteen times the weight in silver.
