Going From Map mode to Onship Mode?

I love PotC I finally god it all modded up and its running beautifully on my 3.4 ghz 256 meg 3d card and system <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
But there is one question, I like real time sailing, I dont like the map mode, is there a way to go back to real time sailing mode without finding land or a storm meaning u need to take manual <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> control over the ship?
I hope Ive spelled all this right, basically When ur on ur ship , in first person, all u do is press ur enter key and u can choose to go to map mode right? How do u go from Map Mode back to Sailing mode? cause when I press enter in Map Mode It doesnt do anything.
Please Help asap

If you are in map mode, you can hit the space bar and it will take you back into sailing mode. You can basically do this whenever you want, you don't need to have an island, or ship, pirate or otherwise, or storm icon present. It will put you into sea mode, but you cannot manually sail to an island in sea mode. (Many have tried! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> )

Yay I got it working
Only problem is now how hard the sword fights are.. I boarded a ship, am I supposed to kill EVERYONE that i see ? cause i tried, but I died quickly...

Not everyone as some of the men are actually your crewmen and if you start killing them then you probably will end up dying.

Also check what level you are playing at as the higher that is the harder the sword fights will be.
Another thing is that that if you are boarding or being boarded by a much larger ship with more crew then that will alos make the fights harder.

Another thing that can make the fights harder if crew morale. If the morale of the enemy crew if higher then they will have more HP then your crew.

With your swordfights, the better sword you have, the easier they'll be, because the sword will have better stats - and be more deadly.

Something you should know - and maybe you don't - but the <b>Ctrl</b> key is your BLOCK. If you find yourself in a fight against multiple enemy, use the Ctrl key to hold up a block - and wait for a good moment to strike. Usually when BOTH enemies strike at once, you can then take a swing at ONE without the other one hitting you while you're doing it.

If you are still having trouble with boarding, go to any island and walk around in the jungle - you'll meet robbers and rapists - and you can have some easy combat with them until you feel more confident with your skills.
