I really need some rum bottles with spilled message...

I can destroy that hell damned Greenford fort, but if I land with my troops, I can't win.... Only one sword strike and I am dead... what may I do (that fort destroy was easy... I has Frigate before and now I hav Frigate and Battleship.. so it wouldn't be a problem <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" /> ¨)...

Next:

I wanna try that PMT Build mod.... but it looks so hard... (golden old potc <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock:" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" /> ). So, what may I do in this ..

Hi Yellowbeard , how is your melle skill ?? Is it 10/10 ?? Remember that the crew number in your flag ship is the one who will fight with you inside the fort so they have to survive with you from the fort fire before you destroy it then landing on it .
 
Hello, crew morale is normal or elated (or something like that), crew number is 682.... My melee skill is about `5-7` (I am not using PMT Build yet)... hitpoints about `75-85`... In that battle against fort I lost a quarter of crew, but I has resupply them from my second ship (Frigate)... but In that fort I¨have only my 3 officers and maybe one man of crew (or its officer from that Frigate??).. In first 10 seconds is dead everybody of them and in next 20 sec I amd dead...

I discovered (for myself) that if I board the ship, IU have 3 man (+me) and if I going through the ship (deck, cabbin etc...) there are more of my crew.. is it in that fort too?? (in that case I must only survive to next crew meet)

There should be more crew in the fort, just like on the ships, Yellowbeard. The number depends on how many you have of YOUR crew, as opposed to how many soldiers the fort still has, but it's basically the same formula, I belive.

One of the things that is nice about this part of the main quest is that you DO have some control over what your stats are before you go attack Greenford. At the lighthouse shore, when talking to Danielle and she suggests you attack by sea and she'll attack by land, you have the option to say, let's not do this yet, we need to prepare. THERE, you can sail away from the lighthouse and build up your stats, get (win) bigger ships, hire more men, &tc. Take all the time you wish - and when you are ready, you can go back to the lighthouse shore to tell Danielle, Let's go, and then you can go hit the Greenford fort with your stats built up better! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Ohh, Thanx.. I did it.. The fort crush was easy (battleship is battleship <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/william.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":will" border="0" alt="william.gif" /> ) ... That sword fight was hader, but after that fort fall to my hands, that was easiest to catc the town.. one cut, one kill (almost <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" /> ).. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/william.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":will" border="0" alt="william.gif" /> ..

Hooray! Black pearl is on the bottom of the sea... Men will sink a few of french sihp and all at once is Horror of the High Sea and nobody will buy from him anything (Store, Shipyard)... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

After that I met a little french fleet and that 3 ships became a `ship-wrecks`...


My last rescue is Quebradas Costillas (or something like that) with QC Shipyard and brothel <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
Yellowbeard, to fix up your reputation it's best to go to an island like Oxbay or Douwesen and go out into the jungle. You'll encounter some rapists and a damsel needing rescue - rescue her and kill off the dastardly devils trying to rape her, and she should thank you and will either give you money or will tell you she'll tell everyone you're a really fine fellow.

Once you've done that in an area, just save the game and keep going back and forth between one area and another to trigger the rapist scenario again. You will have to do this quite a few times, but in the end it's worth it as your rep will eventually boost up enough so you can go sell your ships &tc...

i find to get my reputation up get a letter of marque from a govener and then do jobs for him that way u can get lots of expierience, a title and land to get some money ur reputation should soon go up!! but u should only do that if ur ship is not badly damaged
