engine.exe issue

Hi pirates :gday

I'm Lars and come from Germany and yesterday i found your mod for potc! To me it seems to be a great mod, even I haven't played it yet...

And thats the issue.
I downloaded the build 14 beta 1 full. After installing in a different folder I installed or rather extracted the first build 14 patch. Used rename.bat again. Showed quite a lot of not finding files, but well i looked it up at the faq so i thought it's allright. Then tried to start engine.exe and the error message appears ( attachment).

I already changed engine.ini like it`s decribed in the FAQ.

Ahja, before I forget,
Got windows vista 32bit
AMD X2 1,9
Ati x1200 (onboard graphics)
2gb Ram

That's a weird one. You did install the modpack on top of the 2003 PotC game?
And you installed the modpack to the same folder as your game?

The last time I got that message was in the thread directly below this one. We were bug chasing there. It looks like you installed the unpatched build 14. That was a bit buggy.

We are up to patch 3.1 now.

I started out in Vista 32. You might have to make an exception in your Date Execution Prevention (DEP). You might need one for ffdshow also. I did.

I just reinstalled everything and now i can open the config.exe and everything works greats. The game looks awesome

Now I'm gonna head for french ships

Pls excuse my stupid mistakes, but I'm useless at the pc
