Solved Crash on port/ship

Hi everyone! I've been casually playing New Horizons time to time for more than three years. So I would like to thank everyone for this wonderful mod and wish good luck with the Hearts of Oak.

Now, the problem. Whenever I go out to the port or fast travel to the ship, I get a CTD. First I thought something happened to the save file when I entered to the colony (Jamaica) and went back to one of my older saves (in Bonaire) to see if that solves the problem. Unfortunately it didn't, game crashed when going to the ship again.

I'm uploading my save file in Bonaire here, but I doubt the problem is with my save. It's most likely in one of the files that has something to do with the sea.

Anyways, I would appreciate some help!

Edit: Apparently the problem is with sea.dll

Did the game work properly before? Sea.dll issues remind me of the Intel Graphics Card issue. Do you have one of those by any chance?

You could try deleting the file called "options" from your main game folder and see if that makes any difference.

Yes, it did work properly before. I have switchable graphics card in my laptop, AMD Radeon HD 6650M and Intel HD Graphics 3000. AMD one is supposed to work (it usually does) for any application that I set as "High Performance". I tried "Power Saving" option which makes the game work with the Intel card too but it didn't make any difference. And I don't remember changing anything with the settings before it started crashing.

Tried deleting options too, no change

There is a problem with laptops that have both AMD and Intel graphics that causes it to use the intel graphics no matter what the settings are, if I remember correctly.

That proves you indeed do have the Intel problem, despite also having a different GFX card.
So all you need to do is to convince the game to run from your AMD Radeon card instead.
