Cool ship names

I've noticed I've captured the Rey Carlos (Ray Charles) and kuddos to Sid and the gang for that, but I was wondering if anyone had noticed any others that my limited Spanish skills are missing? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

I took to naming my flagship the "Black Death" when I took one named that, and thought it appropriate... Heh... Usually I rename my flagship the "Siren of the Seas"

My Royal Sloop is called "The Imaptient Virgin" and my Ship of the Line is called "Fat Bastard". Then there's the mail runner I like to call Fred Bob...

Flag ship (royal sloop) is always the "Howling Wolf"

If I have a second ship (that I keep for longer than to the next port), I name it the "Furious Bunny"...

I always run them in pairs, usually a Brig of War and a Brigantine to act as a tender to carry along the extra rum and other necessities. I use several sets of names:

Chancery and Rook
Pistol and Musket
Shadow and Ghost
Whisper and Silent
Penguin and Pelican

Great game. As good as the original.

Furious Bunny is great!

My flagship is always named "Savalle" which is the old Spanish name for the tarpon (fish).

I used to fish for tarpon in those waters, mainly from a canoe or kayak... which is a real thrill when the fish outweighs your boat. It's a huge, armored brute of a fish. You can't eat it, it's only good for fighting.

I've started naming my flagship "Fluffy." She handles like a kitten and what could be more embarrasing to an enemy skipper than to go back to port and say he got beat by a ship named "Fluffy?"
