Hi there mateys!
First of all: you did GREAT! I played last build over 2 years ago, doing the main quest was good but rather repetitive, and a bug in oxbay mine, forced my to abandon it. Now I played Jack Sparrow story, I found it great, and also other storylines add deepness to a great game! :drunk

As for now, I am stuck in Jack Sparrow Storyline: Anamaria is waiting for me in Barbados to find the Special Compass of the movies, but I don't know what to do. I tried to find some info in Tortuga since the quest book suggests me to find Barbossa, but no luck. I went to Jamaica after escorting Cutler Beckett but I refused to continue working for EITC (Hate them, lol :urgh ).
Should I load a former Savegame and continue EITC quest or can I go further without it? (hate commercing, I'm a Pirate!!! X-D). And where should I go to find the compass or Barbossa or whatever?
I travelled many ports to find infos.... no luck :hmm

Thanks for ya help! :gday

Thanks for your kind words matey :D

We do enjoying hearing good words about our work (especially when it has something to do with the storyline I'm involved in ;))

Now we all hate the EITC and Beckett but to find the compass you need to do missions for them :wp

As Jack Sparrow DID work for them in his story before turning pirate ;)

Damn... I refused the quest, I exited the building of the EITC and now I can't enter inside anymore! :-(

Maybe I have to load a previous save. However, I remember Beckett told me to make a profit with the 10.000... I tried before to do some trade, but I don't know how much profit he wants... or if plundering ships is considered a way to earn money :p
However, when I come back to his office, the door is shut as before (night and day also).... uhmmmm ;)

Yup; you will have to load a previous save. :yes

You can "earn" money any way you want, Beckett does not care as long as you earn a profit. ( the man has no morals )

All that matters is how much extra money you have on you, above the 10,000 he gave you, when you go back.

The more money you have the happier he will be. :))

P.S. Don't take too long - I don't think he will wait forever.

Ok, I'll load a previous save.
Then I suggest the kind creator of this storyline :bow not to include the option to refuse the EITC mission on the next patch, or to be possible to re-enter inside the ETIC building after refusal, otherwise the game will stuck :)

You will find that there are many situations where you are given the option to refuse a mission.

Refusal will mean you leave the storyline.

So ignore these options, unless you get bored with the story and want to do your own thing. :treas

Very true ;)

I can think of 3 off the very top of my head right now so there is plenty of times when you can leave the storyline.

NOTE: There are options to refuse some sidequests (Pirate Lords) which will still let you play the game ;)
