Does changing your clothes (build 11 mod) affect the way people think of you?

I and my 3 officers were all wearing the Bath Robes that you start in and whenever we boarded a ship the enemy surrended immediately. Does that have anything to do with the clothes?

How do you fill up the blue bar (in between the white bar for sail damage and red bar for hull damage) that makes your cannons fire quicker?

no, your clothes don't have any impression on others. perhaps they should? that would have to be part of a `shake-up` of the whole reputation/fame system...

Pity disguises don`t work as such. In fact it`s quite funny to do the `drinking with French Officer then go for a walk` scene when you & your officers are in English uniforms. The French don`t seem to notice at all...

I'd like that too, changing your outfit to sneak into places. Like for new quests, dress as a British sailor to sneak into a fort and save a comrade from hanging... or as a nasty pirate among a nasty pirate crew (to prove your toughness you belly up to the bar, and demand from the bartender a glass of milk... IN A DIRTY GLASS!).
