Cheat goods delivery

hey there. i previously played the game with nathaniel hawk storyline, but just thought of this now. on barbados, at the store there, i accepted a mission to deliver loads of silver to la grenade(my first delivery mission). so i went there but instead of delivering it, i sold it to gain loads of cash. i didn't receive a penalty on reputation and the log in the quest log that says "deliver cargo to la grenade" disappeared after some time, but not right after i sold the cargo. after selling the cargo, stores won't offer me delivery missions anymore. is that supposed to happen?

Ayup! The merchants trusted you with their goods and you stole those goods instead. Now they will not deal with you.

haha that's what i thought too. but i already gained about 200000 gold from that and escort missions are better anyway

Ok, but remember that some of the escort missions are bugged. If you get a bad one and the merchant does not appear on the dock, go to his cabin and kill him. That will end the mission with no penalty.

i had a bug like that but my reputation decreased when i killed him. though not a lot so it's alright
