Can't start Build 13

I've never had a problem with the Build mod before, but I can't seem to get Build 13 to work (the last time I fiddled with POTC was years ago, so this is all new again to me). I've re-installed and re-applied the mod, but still the same. It gets to the point just before the introduction movies would play, and then crashes to the desktop without an error message. The only thing that is displayed during this process is the spinning globe/emblem in the bottom right. Please help? I'm trying this with Build 13 final. Should I be using Build 13 full instead? I was lead to believe that the 'Final' version was the correct one.

Build 13 Final should be good. Please <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=9234" target="_blank">enable error logging</a> and tell us what's in the generated system.log, compile.log and possible error.log after trying to load the game again.
