Cant save game in sailing mode

I cant save my game while sailing in 3d or 1st person mode. Only when i see from map or when im on land. My friend can save in sailing mode if he is not in a fight. Also my water isnt as nice as ive seen on some pics ill post a pic of my water later.

I've only been able to save from the overhead map while sailing. Otherwise, you cannot save when you are on the sea. I don't think your friend can save when he's simply sailing - only from the map view.

I've never been able to save at any time during sailing mode, only on land or in map mode as Cat replied. Also, the level of detail in your game (particularly the water) is a result of your graphics card. The better and more powerful, the more detail you'll see.

He can save there, true. We bought the game at the same time in the same order both were delivered to my house, we went up on my room installed it, 1 hour later we went to him and i noticed that he saved when in sail mode. His game is 100% unmodded he doesnt even have internet (to dl mods), he got the build from me on a cd, but he said he wasnt gonna install it because of the sounds in it

I meant "mod" to be "unintentional mod" - it's a glitch or something that he can save like that...

He doesn't like the sounds? I don't think Build 11 changes any sounds, does it?

No doesnt change it adds. It adds sounds when you put sails up down or something, very annoying.
