Cannot install Supermod

I cannot install Supermod v1.1

It just launches the extracting files screen and then 5 seconds later it says the program encountered an err and needs to close. I tried to uninstall the game - reinstall v1.41 - install Supermod many times but never it works, only the err message come up.

I found somewhere in the forum someone had the same problem but there is no answer.
Please help me out. Thanks in advance

I did update .Net framework 2.0 even 3.0 now but the exe file just can't work. Have no idea what is going wrong...
Please, any one had the same problem, please tell me your way. Thanks

I got the Supermod to work and I <i>didn't</i> install .Net framework.

Without .Net, you can't run the Supermod executable. Any customisation you want, e.g. which set of music files to use or how your character looks, you must do by editing the relevant files. But you can simply copy all the files from the Supermod and the five updates into place and play the Supermodded game.

The bottom line is, if the executable file doesn't work, ignore it - just copy the files into place and start playing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />
 
How can you copy the files out of an executable file (i have the same problem as NDKT). The executable file is un-explorable, so how can i get into it to copy the files?
