Hi all <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" /> , first of all sorry for my bad English :

I have a problem with guns, when I equip guns, I have a system message that says that I am bullet less, then when I try to buy some bullets on vendors, it doesnt work (I can select bullets on vendors, but when I click on buy, bullets wont go in my inventory)

I have also a problem with stuffs, it seems that some items like potions or bandage are auto assigned to 123456789 keys, and I dont know how to re-assign keys for potions etc

I am playing build 12 full.zip + base build 13 + updates

That is a known bug. Unfortunately nobody has the slightest idea how to fix it. It appears that if you are quick enough, you ARE able to buy them. Also note: You can't carry more than 6 bullets at a time (or 12 if you have an ammunition pouch equipped).

Potions are used with the [C] key. Bandages are not yet in the game (they were in the September 10 version, but you shouldn't use that version: Use Build 13 Beta 2 instead). Check the files PROGRAM\CONTROLS\init_pc.c and PROGRAM\seadogs.c.
 
ok, thanks, so what I should install ?


1) Fresh POTC install
2) Build 12full.zip install
3) base build13 install
4) build 13 beta 1
5) buid 13 beta 2

is that the correct installation ?

no need updates from 11 july to 10 september ?

then what about Localized Version ? I have a French one, so I need to execute the language stuff after build 12 install ? then I need to do it too after build 13 & updates ? Is it possible to play with language mix with this build ? (original quests are in French and new build quests & stuffs are in english)

Yes, it is. When we get Build 13 done, it will be a much easier install. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

You should indeed run RunMe.bat after installing Build 12, then run English.bat after you installed the other files. It is possible to run the game in a sort of language mix version, but you'll have to make the mix yourself, which would be a LOT of work. The only language that is fully supported is English. The Build should work on other language versions as well, but the Build will work in English on those versions as well, because we didn't add French or German translations.

The only other language the Build can run in is Russian. Maximus made a translation mod so that the game works in Russian as well.

By the way (concerning localized versions), I was contacted by another French member here, seems he's planning to work on a French translation for this fantastic mod, I will be happy to help, if of course you agree with the idea.

I agree with all translation work and I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. If you get it done, I will add the translated files as additional download from my site, so any players can play in the translated version. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
Hi all. I can make some changes in my code (because I know what exactly need to be changed) for switching between languages: French, German, Spanish, English and Russian. Also additional buttons and possibility to save language settings
