build 14 alpha+patch... Quests?

So i got the game a couple of days ago. I have the newest mods, which would be new horizons, I started as jack sparrow, and im on the damsel in distress quest. but im stuck now. my officers say theyll meet me at the tavern and they dont show up. I dont know if theres something i have to do or its a bug any halp would be appreciated, and its a great storyline so far!
