Solved Build 14 2.5 light

I have installed the build 14 2.1 full like it asks (C:\Games\Pirates of the Caribbean) and this runs fine and do then do same for the 2.5 light after but when i run the run.bat and press any key to continue I only get lines and lines of (the system cannot find the path specified).

2.1 runs and works fine, I install 2.5 to the same place the only difference is i also install the intel gfx fix included in the install. Thank you in advance

err.. if you read the instructions you would know that this can happen and is not bad at all ;)
 
the instructions mentions not finding files is fine not the system path, and when i run the game it still informs me i'm running 2.1, i'll give the beta a go, thanks
 
Sounds like indeed something did go wrong. I suspect Windows Security Stupidity. Again! :whipa

Beta 3 doesn't use the batch file anymore, so hopefully that'll help. It also has a lot of improved and fixed features. :cheeky
 
yeah just waiting for the download to finish I had a deeper look and the build info file says 2.5 and its features but the game loads as 2.1. And whenever i install the 2.5 it puts the intel fix and radeonsea file in program files despite I set the install to C:\games\pirates of the Caribbean. Hope the Beta 3 works
 
Do you have a PROGRAM_new folder somewhere? If RunMe.bat didn't replace the code files properly, that folder has to be somewhere.
 
I think i did but beta 3 is installed and working fine thanks for the help the only thing that is confusing me is the % next to my characters skills
 
That's the Auto Skill System. You gain skills by doing stuff; the % shows how far you are towards the next skill level.
