heya; ive searched this but havnt found another related thread.

I cant board; it just crashes. I can capture only once they have surrendered. Is this a known bug?

Unknown one. Which version of Build are you experience that with?

Well, its the alpha 8, but I havnt spotted it anywhere else so is this unique to me?

There's several known issues with Alpha 8, but this is not one of them. Can anybody confirm?
I do know of getting stuck upon boardings, but not actually crashes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I should probably mention i occaionally had a problem in build 13 where the boarders didn't appear but I think that must be something to do with textures or something so i didnt worry. Could it be me graphic hardware getting depressed?

maybe. i've noticed that boarding asks a lot of your computer, relatively speaking.

Hmm. This will probs be pointless but heres my specs;

nvidia gforce 6800 nforce 405, 256mb ram-dac shared graphics card an ive got all the right software. Is there a known bug at all with this make?

I'd be surprised if it was a hardware issue, but then I'm not very knowledgeable about hardware at all. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Heh; Same, so its probably just an internal conflict with the game?
ok. As I say, im not over-bovered; it is an alpha afterall, I was just wondering really if its a known issue and if theres a quick-fire answer.

heya; i CAN board now, after having a look at the boarder settings in internalsettings and restarting, but i now dont have any one else boarding; only my officers and me. Is this one known?

I think someone else reported a "no crew upon boarding" bug as well.
I'm not entire sure what's going on. Which storyline are you playing?

Well, it was the standard but I left a few spaces blank in the intsttings folder and now I get wimmen on boarding but also invisible skeletons. Creepy.

been having the old alpha 6 boarding problem (while playing alpha 6) where it occasionally doesn't let you go on to the next deck.

I remember back in the day someone having a solution for that, it required replacement of code, but the forum search feature is kinda messed up, not allowing me to search 3 letter words such as bug, or six >_> that would making finding any info on it easier.

anyone have the solution for this still? I kinda lost mine when I checked out alpha 8 and when I went back I had to reinstall and such.

Searching for "bug" won't help you.
