There are two things you can do. First look in your POTC folder for "config.exe". Click on it and make sure the textures are set to high and the resolution to 32 bit. Save. Then click on "engine.ini" and at the top set your screen resolution. This link is to a screenie of my engine.ini. My screen resolution is 1920 X 1080. Farther down it also shows how to set up error logging for troubleshooting.
