Solved Beta 2.5, no keybinds are working on Bucaneer storyline

As the title says, I'm trying out the Bucaneer storyline and no keybinds are working. Specifically the function keys. I can't open my status screen, and as far as I can tell all the other build mod functions are not working as well.

Did you change the default controls? That should be possible, but I remember Jason mentioning weird effects with it too.
