1) `Ship-o`'-`the-lineLineship`: Average speed, normal gun amount. Turns well an' is best used f'r boarding parties. Commodore Wallace boarded an' sank 5 `Men-o`'War wiv a Lineship, mate!

2) Warship: Slower dan th' lineship, but sturdier an' stouter. Carries more cargo an' more crew, aye.

3) Frigate: Dance round th' big MOW an' pick him apart with this liddle beautie! Quick, turns well, an' carries decent guns and crew. Ye can't haul swag wid this, tho! 'Twill na hold much cargo.

4) Corvette: Aye, this be a fast liddle beautie, turns nicely, but it holds less crew an' swag dan the Frigate! bes' used as a `start-up` or as a main ship, if ye be on a higher level, mate!

5) BrigantineBrig: quickest o' th' top 5, aye, but it holds almost nuthin' an' can barely deal agin a MOW.

Ah, the Xebec CT has been fancied up an all by Catalina.

CT is faster and has more cargo capacity. There's also a BR but when I put my CT into the game (yes, I did her up), I changed the stats to my liking. I find her a very handy little ship for boarding and usually sail her with something BIG (like a MOW) for all the plunder! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Great tips there Cdre. Wallace, one thing to be carfull of on the Warship I find is that if on 1rst person view you go behind the rear mast, you'll get stuck there <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Xebec ct is just so nice a ship ...............
(I changed the hp a bit........ dont want such a fine vessel go under for a single broadside from a MOW)
