ARG HELP !!!

i am getting better. I have captured 3 ships and crewed same. With each capyure, I could not (after battle) switch ships or remove/replace officers!? they are various level ships and all my crews are in elated spirits. I wish to decommision them. If i sell them, I lose the officer. If I sell my ship, but keep them, all is gone. Before, long ago, I could swap back and forth, either myself or officers, but, alas, those saves are gone. I went through all "f2" commands several times? please enlighten me, ye dezins o'the deep.

I don't quite understand the problem. If you sell the ship, the officer is put back in your passengers list. WIth Build 12.1 and higher you can do ship-to-ship tranfer through the F2 > Ship menu so you can set new officers an remove old ones.
