it would be interesting, IMO, to have accounts of engagements between grossly mismatched opponents.
I`m a small ship man and would love to hear how small vessels by appropriate tactics beat up or gallantly lost against superior opponents.
Myself I managed to take a galleon and 2 class 3 vessels with my starting lugger before being sunk. I boarded, swapped ships and boarded again. Galleon was the FIRST boarding. But there were 7 enemies and I had no repair skill and no firedrill...
In Seadogs I managed to take a warship with a light sloop.
BTW, what`s the opinion abt. cutters? I think abt. downgrading from lugger to cutter see... English cutter being my favourite vessel in RL seafaring.
