Adding Ships

can someone post about how to export a model from 3ds max 7, what modifiers the model needs, what things need to be selected in the export dialog for VRML97 format etc.

My specific problem is with the textures.

and one more thing added 3 ships based on original one just renamed and reattributed more hull speed capacity cannons crew but after loading game they all have greyed hull but deck and sails are normal how to fix it please anyone!!!
