Solved Accuracy vs cannon skill

So I'm a bit confused by the description for cannons skill
that says in addition to reload speed it helps the grouping of your shots.
So I need cannon skill as well as accuracy if I want the highest amount
of hits per broadside? I would have thought accuracy would determine
your shot groupings.
Can anyone clarify?

Accuracy is how close your shots land next to each other and their target.

Cannons is how fast they reload and also how closely they fire together.

High accuracy and low cannon skills means your shots go where they are pointed but they fire so slowly that the target ship may no longer be there and it takes a long time to reload.

Low accuracy and high cannon skills means the shots are scattered around but the cannons fire at about the same time and reload quickly.

Ah, I read grouping to mean like a shot grouping. as in all your shots hit near each other.
That makes more sense. Thank you.
