abnormal program temination

Everytime i want to play potc i get this error:

Runtime Error!

Progaram:...s\Bethesda Softworks\Pirates Of The Caribbean\ENGINE.exe

abnormal program temination
Can some one help me...someone told me to turn something off in windows before to get it to work but I forget what it was <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Be sure that you installed everything correctly or this "abnormal.." s*** happens.

could also just be your video card. but didn't it work properly earlier?
