    Hi, I'm perhaps a little late but you can try with cheats, press F11 and so click on F16. It will add 5 days in game. I don't think it's ship doing the crash cause you say it crashes even on land. I remember in AoP1 I got the same problem (on worldmap), made a save just before the crash...
