    If you make changes to file which initializes something, most likely that changes don't take effect due to poor scripting system design. Then you probably need either to start a new game to make changes appear or to change another parts of code which contains runtime logic, not initialization...

    If it was in PoTC too, then Pieter is correct - they planned to use Blaze in SD2 (it is also hardcoded in some engine parts, not only scripts), but because of partnership with Disney they were forced to change it Here is the interview with timecode...

    In PoTC? I thought 'blaze' in code is CT rudiment... Anyway, with regard to Jack Sparrow and Johnny Depp, this is not my guess - this is what Akella co-founder mentioned in the interview this year.

    If I recall correctly, the planned MC was Jack Sparrow :dance Two months before the release Johnny Depp objected to this (I have no any further details) and this led to a very tight timeline because it required replacing both main character and the storyline

    Some AA techniques are extremely efficient and provide great graphics enhancing at the same time. They are disabled in Storm Engine(but remained in code commented out as far as I remember) for some reason, but you can enable them in GPU settings. Try it out

    Hook's Mod version 1.0 for TEHO 1.5.2

    Try this. It's updated to 1.6.0 and also includes "sail to" fix, but I have no testers to ensure that everything is working as intended. So make a reliable save before using this and report if you face any issues.

    there are instructions in the tehomod thread Mod: ActiveMap 1.3 is just an interface. If you want to sail in tactical mode then you probably want to use Hook's mod, but afaik there is no version for 1.6.0. I will probably try to update it if I will have some spare time

    Here is a patch fixing rare yet annoying "sail to" bug (though not tested it yet) Just replace the original file in 'modules' folder

    Due to severe circumstances, I have to stay inactive for a while, so I probably can miss some updates. So I decided to make a service for unpacking scripts (only stormex2.dll, not SFFS) Enjoy: stormex P.S. unpacker is front-end and written in c++ so you need a modern browser with wasm support...

    Исторически сложилось, что называется он у нас "старший помощник"(starschi pomoschtschnik), сокращенно - "старпом", но в тематическом контексте (пиратская тематика, например), в литературе и фильмах, обычно, переводится дословно - "первый помощник"(pervi pomoschtschnik)
