    I have seen this as well (24 Jan + Levis 30 Jan zip) has been around for a long time. If you go to the ship upgrade interface and click on a companion ship first, the ticks don't update for that ship - if you then click your ship and back to the companion ship it is all OK. Not a show stopper...

    Build 14 Beta 4 10 Jan update. Captured ships get full hull and sails when going to the capture screen - nice but a bit of a cheat.

    Captured Captains who become your officers loose reputation rapidly and you cannot get it back - hence your overall reputation must drop - This may not be a bug as some reputation loss for an individual who turns traitor to their country would be expected - but not to "Horror of the High seas"...

    Just tried to get Amiel to turn pirate and sink the Oiseau and had no issues - So I think the dialogue issue may be fixed in the latest build.
