    Yes, I have used a locator for the player to reach and the dialog starts. I've had no trouble with that.

    There's code in LAi_events line 618 and line 838 that gives a tomahawk to an attacking NPC. And removes it at line 2346. This was to avoid NPC:s using the bladearrows too much as an (unrealistic) sword. I have tested now with an attacking NPC with a bow. Both with and without a tomahawk given...

    I don't think I have forced any enemies to shoot. Enemies with pistolbows do use them if they are attacking you. Maybe try LAi_SetActorType(characterFromID("Brthug1")); LAi_ActorAttack(CharacterFromID("Brthug1"), Pchar, ""); (and give them some bladearrows just to be sure)

    Yes that's the case. I simplified it a little. There are about 10 standard pistols left that can be equipped. In both storylines you are given what you need of weapons (also standard pistols) so in a normal playthrough I don't think you would notice any difference. See this more as the last...
