    Ideas for the future!

    We've had people on here that probably could, (so they say), do, and etc., an online client using the source code for COAS, but unfortunately they disapear as quick as they turn up:rumgone. That's the main reason for not giving the source code out which has been entrusted to us.

    I've had a look at other proper supported games which I have and it does work for them....ini files are opened and the ani files too. We'll just have to wait to get into PR3.

    The unpacker doesn't seem to support PR3 yet......besides that the game locks up every five minutes (it doesn't like dual core CPU'S, even setting affinty in task manager doesn't stop the lock ups ), so I'd waite a bit before buying the game till they sort out it's problems. I wish these...

    Well.....till the first one is sorted out, it's not, but there will only be the wig to add once the first is done. The deal is....it's a model problem,....it won't smooth. I've probably clicked on something by mistake & ......f***ed it up. Exported it as Obj. re-opened it in Maya & it flat and...

    Hi Sorry, can't make the pictures out OP.....too dark to see. I smoothed everything in Maya before exporting. The only thing is when I tried to flat shade the model again, trying to sort this out, it would'nt do it....... so maybe it's a problem that's developed with my Maya installation, all...

    Hi We've got two new Barbossa versions, but not POTC compatible yet Pieter.....but they will be though. Got a bit of an issue with the skin ATM......the model works OK but OP says the skin looks odd in bright lighting.....don't know what's causing it, I've done it the same as all the others...

    Hi Played some sort of demo for the game :robber: .......hope they sort out the foliage graphics glitch where trees seem to get smaller as you get nearer and sort out the FRPS lag. Other than that it's just the same as the original with a pirate theme, clothes & guns and cut scene sailing...

    Hi rl. I used to have it till my HD went down........not a bad game actualy but I got fed up of being blown up by folk who could afford to pay for special parts & better tanks, (not so much skill or tactics......( just £ & $ like most other online games ), so I haven't bothered since.

    Hi The plugin works......but same as 3DS .........all the parts are scattered. Only difference is the uv map isn't lost by exporting as obj.. Ill re-upload it later today. Cheers damski. UPLOADED NOW :doff

    Hi All the part names are in tact but they all have the same meterial..........our models use Lambert so it'd need changing anyway, so that's not a problem. Can't find the FBX plugin to download.
