    Quite right! Here are the changes I made to the default values of the period to match with the date (15th of January 1779) : Spain and The Netherlands didn't enter the American Revolutionary War until after the start date.

    I think it would be nice if we had an additional toggle that allows you to choose from (or at least see) all perks. Especially when you have some officers you haven't decided what do with yet, or have in reserve.
