Tutorial Step by step walkthrough for the introduction of Sea Dogs: To Each His Own

Yep, once in a battle between Spain and France, i join up with my ship and one of the Spanish brig surrendered while the other two got blow up. I also seen one ship surrender after just one boarding battle, it show a message like the crew realize the situation is hopeless so they give up. If...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

Yep, that's what the old man in the tutorial told me. Your stats got those penalties for three reasons. 1/ Sailing a ship that you don't have the required navigation skill or navigator. 2/ Got drunk. 3/ Overbearing your maximum weight. PS: i forgot to notice whether or not your stats got...

Tutorial Step by step walkthrough for the introduction of Sea Dogs: To Each His Own

So did you get any progress on the quest? Is the gypsy fortune teller or monk know what it is or maybe it's an Indian related quest. Maybe try your brother or Fadey. Just hope it isn't a leftover from undeveloped quest. And about the governor wife quest, what is your reputaion? Some quest need...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

Rank only affect what kind of ship is available in shipyard. You got the penalty because your navigation is too low for that ship, and your navigator isn't up to the task either. So find another navigator.

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

The naval combat in this game is simply affect more by your stats. With high S in PIRATES, luck and accuracy, you can't miss. While cannonade for long range combat is kinda suck, this encourage player to pay attention to maneuver to use grapeshot and boarding combat. In real life, pirate prefer...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

I hate the unrealistic HP my enemies have so i cheated. Either make my rank low or modify my and my officer's HP to match theirs. Imagine what will happen when you with three officers without modified HP have to tackle a group of 20+ enemies with 1500+ HP each. Also, the energy is ridiculously...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

Yep, i took the slave trader quest i have to fight a Heavy Galleon instead of normal Galleon. But overall, as long as you are used to it, the combat is not hard. I only hate the disparity between you and your officer's HP compare to the enemy. I'm around 180, my officer around 250, my enemy is...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

the higher the difficulty, the tougher the enemy. But in boarding action, as long as you outnumber the enemy, it's not a big deal. But fighting one on one with the captain is gonna be tougher. He will have better stats, like 800+ hp, better weapon like gun and sword, might even have armor on...

    Tutorial Game difficulty level

You can avoid the navigator desertion by not visiting any tavern. Or by choosing the right conversation. I played and he want to retire, but i deny him by telling him he doesn't have a choice. So he returns to the ship saying he will serve under protestation. So you can keep him. The difficulty...

Save often! The game is buggy as hell

The only way to make sure you don't have to restart the whole quest or replay the game is to SAVE OFTEN as the topic tittle suggest. I got 10 saves for each part of a long quest. SO SAVE OFTEN EVERYONE, 4 seconds to save is better than replay.

Save often! The game is buggy as hell

I guess it's a bad luck for you pal. I got a similar but like that, but that's when i was in port. All door are locked, no fast travel, can't go back to ship.

Tutorial Step by step walkthrough for the introduction of Sea Dogs: To Each His Own

There is a trick from the previous games, take note of payday and fire all the crew before that day. Hire them after payday has passed. Example, payday is the 1st of every month, son on the 30th, dock in a port and fire all the crew. On the 2nd, hire them back from the tavern. Or there is...
