    Yeah I've read about grog. It's pretty interesting! From what I gather, on ships they added rum to the water so as they could "clean" it. And apparently the lemon juice addition was usually for the navy. But the custom of adding gunpowder to alcohol actually predates Blackbeard by around 100...

    worked out pretty well, but I can't interact with Nadine Jansen (the waitress at the tavern) and I can't complete the church quest. about Silehard, I had the same thing happen to me. maybe Danielle is just jealous?

    I haven't seen this quest mentioned anywhere else on the forum. Is it a new addition? In any case, I loved this quest. It was very well done. ps: one of the spanish captains near the end of the quest had the COAS outfit. can I get this outfit too?

    Found the dead albatross in a ship, and I can't get rid of it. I tried talking to the apothecary in Bridgetown and had no option to toss the albatross. Also, the tavernkeeper from bridgetown can't be interacted with. I think there is something to do with the fort quest involving Danielle in the...

    You guys were right. I played a bit in the port area and I found Pieter on the tavern. I was wrong though, I thought he would be an officer, but it is a partnership similar to the one I found on tortuga tavern. I didn't like Pieter's threat though, so I'll probably kill him :wp

    It may be a placebo effect but since I started using the compatibility mode the game seems to be running way better than before. I'll keep you updated about it

    I really like playing the dice/poker/vingt un in the tavern, but I feel like we are missing a lot by not having a specific place for gambling. Would be a neat feature to have, and something like poker tournaments?
