    Better Backgrounds

    You may also find this useful: LAi_SetActorTypeNoGroup(chr); LAi_ActorSetLayMode(chr); where chr is whatever character you've teleported in. That will make the character lie down (or at least it should).

    Ditto. A very good idea indeed. I think better to have BuildSettings.h and InternalSettings.h as the names? Then it's clearer which is more likely to be user-modifyable.

    Three Battle Fleet Engagement

    Well, there's already Punitive_Squadron functionality--but that's 'The governor has ordered any ship available to hunt you down' rather than all-class-1 kind of battle fleet. (Your rep must be low and your relation with the nation == War and then there's a chance a pun. sqdrn will be generated)

    Jason--CCC wants to add potential 'revive' choices to the dialog, so I'd prefer if possible to keep using the dialog interface. But beside that, I'd much rather not implement a separate key for dialog, because that'd require messing with chr events, lai types, and a lot of stuff I don't know...
