    I just installed the January 7 version onto to my laptop. The game opens and let's you select what you but when you hit start game it stops working. System log attached. I have deleted the options file and that doesn't make any difference.

    Well that fixed it. Things seem to be working fine, officers are boarding, etc. It appears that all the rebalancing was lost when did the reinstall.

    Here is something odd. Sailing near Turks I boarded a galleon. On the deck, cargo hold, all three on my officers showed up. Not before or since. Sorry no saved game.

    Levis, I installed the above fix, and I found the book to check on that but during my last boarding the merchant crew was using spades, shovels and a bread knife.

    Ahoy, Pieter. I have plenty of money. It is pretty easy to acquire money in the game, but if it costs 100,000 for 10 points, (10,000 per point) I just don't it makes sense from a cost benefit point of view and I would agree, in its current configuration it is, from my point of view, pointless...
