Need Help Dialogue marks over NPC heads

    I imagine in CT and beyond -- so COAS, TEHO, etc. I'm not sure if POTC has it. In English its label says "Show quest signs over NPCs". It's on by default (in the base game). To override/hard-set it (to be on) in the code, do this: InterfaceStates.EnabledQuestsMarks = true;

Need Help Dialogue marks over NPC heads

This is how you set the quest flag for an NPC: chr.quest.questflag.model = "questionmarkI"; chr.quest.questflag.model = "questionmarkB"; "questionmarkI" is for the "i" flag, which stands for tutorial or general information, and "questionmarkB" is for the standard quest flag (the question mark)...

Transformation and the End of the Line

"In my mind I'm goin' to Carolina Can't you see the sunshine Can't you just feel the moonshine Maybe just like a friend of mine It hit me from behind Yes, I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind" I'm going to back to my childhood in my mind, and it's emotionally carrying me away. It came and suprised...

    Crash when starting the game

Make sure you grab the build installer and the extra fixes archive from the same source, as Pieter (and Pedrwyth) has rightly pointed out: Your problem seems to be a mismatch of the extra fixes archive with the build (and/or game) version you're using.

    Crash when starting the game

Just files, or folders, too? Did you "merge" the folders or "replace" them? Because the latter will leave you with half the files missing, and a broken game. What unarchiving software did you use to extract the files?

    Crash when starting the game

I'm going to assume that those "extra fixes" don't belong in there. And this: ...is not helpful. Where did you extract and place the files? Or was it an automatic installer?

    Crash when starting the game

That's a great start. :yes How did you install the extra fix archive? (What steps did you take, exactly?)

    Crash when starting the game

It's saying that the PASSENGERS_MAX constant has already been defined somewhere else (perhaps in the same file, or a different file?). Do a search for "PASSENGERS_MAX" and see if you can find another "#define PASSENGERS_MAX". Constants should only be declared once in the C programming language...

Transformation and the End of the Line

Thanks Ted. Three other songs that right now come to my mind are another one of James', Fire and Rain (about great personal loss and related deep depression and coping): Scottish-Australian folk musician Eric Bogle's Since Nancy Died (about his mother's death, and truly growing up)...

Transformation and the End of the Line

"You must forgive me if I'm up and gone to Carolina in my mind." This is the first time I am sharing something like this, and I hope it doesn't backfire -- I don't want to make you sad and I'm really not sharing for pity's sake -- but I'm in a lot of pain tonight, and listening to it again, I...

    Neurodiversity

It's in the performance of the singer. Her delivery is less self-confident/forward, implying powerful emotions (danger), than the first singer's. The smile she keeps on her face (her singing technique) is actually a poor performance choice for this song -- which has serious thematic undertones...

    Neurodiversity

Whenever you're hearing Elvis hit really high notes in his singing in a sentimental song on the radio, chances are you're actually listening to Roy Orbison. That's the easiest way to tell. Elvis was simply not capable of singing a song like this one -- he didn't have the voice or professional...

Books & Essays for Life (Non-Fiction)

It will. You just need to find the balance within yourself, the intuitive balance with nature. Distinguishing what's human fiction and what's rooted in reality (nature itself) will become a lot clearer then. Worth noting that we are usually in this state -- confused about ourselves and our...

    The Moon (and Dinosaurs)

Considering how much time humankind has had to think about how to best phrase this statement, I think it's not unfair to be critical of it. And yep, just all of man-kind. Not at all sexist, or speciesist, or ignorant to all of life and the natural balance... Imagine if one type of...

    Neurodiversity

:yes I can fully empathise with this, and, in practice, our societal lives really are much like a make-believe: lives constructed around a fictional reality that's sustained by (certain) people's selfish interests. The only truth is nature itself -- the intuitive balance in nature that serves...

    Notice Site Crash Detail

Also if you're running file sharing and website/forums hosting on the same server, that's generally a bad idea -- especially if you are doing versioning (like a Git repository) for file sharing. File download servers are usually optimised quite differently to regular web servers -- to account...
