Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde from PotBS - ported by pgargon

Hi guys, you probably already know this all the ship plans I have used for modeling are measured using either length on gun deck or length between perpendiculars (both are the same measurement). If you have a close look at the Neptunus plan you will see vertical dotted lines that touch the...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

The Neptunus is done and ready for review in PotBS but SOE is down and I cant pass it on for review. I would like to start on converting her for the build mods but since I have never done conversion work before I will have to learn how to do it first, the ship also requires some textures...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

Thanks for the comments, :) The poly count at the moment is 49,251 (not counting the reference cannons). There is only a few small cosmetic stuff for me to finish (mainly decoration) and she is complete. As for the Indiaman, not far to go on her but Phil has been working a lot of overtime...

Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde from PotBS - ported by pgargon

Xaphod created the Atlas Bark (Endeavour I think) , Agamemnon (Refit of the Atlas Bark), Leviathan (A Chapman Bark quite large) and Bahamut (Refit of Leviathan) so trade ships and pirate refits to turn them into heavily armed ships. LiM has told me the custom texture was made by him so its fine...

Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde from PotBS - ported by pgargon

Yeah he sure did, The Custom texture was supplied by LiM so I guess he created it himself so we should be okay, I will ask him about it anyway. I have also asked him for the Pommern but due to the fact that it was a group effort getting in contact with the others who worked on it is difficult...

Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde from PotBS - ported by pgargon

Hi, I am not a texture artist and I work with 3ds Max 9 otherwise I myself would have a go, if its just textures I am gonna ask around as I am sure a PotBS modeller has made a royalty free version of the textures and this would prevent the need for remapping and be a good base for future skins...

    Trinity, Postillionen and more

Does the file need to be in a different format? I am not sure what files Maya can export to, let me know what file type might work and I will ask LiMuBeI to supply a different file format. Regards,
  12. SeaNorris.

    Trinity, Postillionen and more

Still not heard from him yet unfortunately but I will keep trying:) However I currently discussing with some other model creators to gain permission to use their work and I have so far gained permission from Kris Wood and LiMuBeI. LiM was kind enough to send me the Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde...

    De Zeven Provinciën

Hi, I have recently been in contact with Stefan (creator of De Zeven Provinciën) which is currently a community project on PotBS. I asked him could we use his files for the build mods, he used to play on the build mods and gave us approval to use his model. I have uploaded the files to...

Done some texturing and modeled some deck details and remodeled the cathead supporter, I am re-rigging the shrouds and stays which will take some time and also need to add decoration to the stern in the Dutch style of the period. Neptunus WIP...

  17. SeaNorris.

Many thanks to Remus77 for allowing us to use his wares.

The San Fernando is not the San Mateo it is this one: This ship has only just been announced on PotBS forums as being added to the game soon, I hope they dont ruin it like they did with the Poseidon. Original WIP thread...
