    Released Remus77 Postillionen

Hi, Great job on the colour schemes I like them, :onya Corvettes are designated as fast vessels carrying 20 light guns or less on a single deck, which means that the Postillionen (1701) and Neptunus (1720 - 1730) could also be considered as Corvettes. They both historically carried armament...

    St Albans by Sisko

I would like to see the latest version Kris as I want to see how you modeled the figurehead. :yes I see that Sisko has also been remodeling the figurehead on the St Albans as well: St Albans Figurehead Side and St Albans Figurehead Front so it must be contagious. Regards,

    Released Frigate "Rossiya", 1728

Splendid work Armada, :whee I really like how you have done the stern galleries and head rails very well done, there are a few small things in your render I don't see such as the roof/deck over the stern gallery (this appears to be marked on the plan luckily) and the trim that runs above the...

WIP 1st Rate HMS Prince modeled by James Rosenkranz

Before you adjust the texture maybe check what it looks like rendered, because when I rendered the Neptunus using mental ray with a daylight system the textures looked lighter. The image looks like a showcase render and may be rendered with some technical stuff as well. :g1 Regards,

WIP 1st Rate HMS Prince modeled by James Rosenkranz

Have you tried the AOP wood texture in my FTP folder? It may be the missing one as models submitted to FLS share the same base textures (wood, metal and deck with a grain and basic planking texture), if none of them work I will get in contact with Jim again. And thanks for the pictures :)...

WIP 1st Rate HMS Prince modeled by James Rosenkranz

Hi, We have been given the go ahead to use the HMS Prince modeled by James Rosenkranz (aka victariand). :whee I have uploaded the files to my folder on the FTP and I have also included a few files that should be helpful for scaling to the game. I created two boxes one for the keel length as...

    List of PotBS Vessels

The St Albans was not long ago finished by Sisko and is as of yet not implemented into PotBS but here is the thread on her: http://www.burningsea.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4520 Regards,

    List of PotBS Vessels

Its based on the same ship but obviously not the same model, I managed to take a peek in Maya and she looks well detailed so would make a good alternative version. I would be willing to learn the conversion process myself, but as I have no idea how to use Maya an up to date tutorial would be...

Xebec "Arcadia" & Sakoleva "Alecto" by Elessaria

Hi, I am still trying to contact other ship modelers but I don't send too many messages out too quickly as it may annoy them. :g1 I have sent emails to the following: victariand (Prince 1st rate) Marion Van Ghent ("Renard" Chasse-Maree, "Sultan" Fluyt, "Hermes" Packet-Boat, "Oliphant"...

Xebec "Arcadia" & Sakoleva "Alecto" by Elessaria

Hi, Elessaria the creator of the "Arcadia" Xebec and Sakoleva "Alecto" has granted permission for us to use these vessels. :whee The Arcadia is a large heavily armed Xebec based on a cross between the plans in Chapman's Architectura Navalis Mercatoria and the plans for the French Xebec Le...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

Apologies for my lack of knowledge regarding the build mod stats as I never went beyond build 13 final. I used COAS vessels like the Brig and Brigantine to base my adjustments off, I am sure you guys will give it realistic stats were it would fit in with the best balance as I was just...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

I have been testing the ship a little today and adjusted the following (original stats supplied by Rider88 on the left): Speed Rate: 16.5 (left this alone) Turn Rate: 60.0 ----> 55.0 (since the ship is light I thought this would okay could be reduced though). Cargo Capacity: 1400 ----> 1000...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

The COAS Sloop looks like the Royal Navy Sloop (single masted) Ferret/Shark 1711, apparently the Ferret had a second mast added sometime in its career, here is a plan of the Ferret: http://collections.nmm.ac.uk/collections/objects/84668.html Howard Chapelle reconstructed a draught of the...

    Released Neptunus Privateer

Hi everyone, The sloop of war you are comparing her to is the Brig from PotC right? That brig looks like it is based on the Russian Brig Mercury 1819 as I found some models on this website: http://www.shipmodel.ru/shipmodels.htm Among the fine models on this site you may notice the 32 gun...

Friedrich Wilhelm zu Pferde from PotBS - ported by pgargon

Great work everyone involved in the conversion of this ship she looks amazing. :) The ship is actually the Pirates of the Burning Sea Ship Alexander/Macedon which was given to the community to use by its creator Alexander Kasper (LiMuBei on PotBS forums) he also modeled the PotBS Hercules...

    Textures for PotBS ships

I have replicated the FLS wood and metal textures using textures from COAS, which were the same but split into individual textures (WoodGrain U4 for example is the same as the texture used on the Neptunus masts). I resized them and positioned them to be in the same location as their FLS...
