Need Help Bell ringing and driving me crazy

I guess, they were supposed to work as the original naval indication of every half an hour. And the original time indication divided the 24 hours into six sections of 4 hours, which was a duty shift. The bell struck from 1 to 8 bells (nautical term) during those 4 hours. But I don't think, the...

Fixed Is there a tailor in Governor's Harbour? And other map-related problems.

If you mean the sound of lots of people speaking over each other, then yes, it's still there. I once visited the brothels in the hope to buy rum or fine wine (the healing types) like one can buy ether in the opium den in Port Royale. But all I found was dirty talking.

Fixed Charlestown: how come these three street merchants don't have quick-action-icons?

Grey Roger, you and I must have different definitions of what a street merchant is then. I define a street merchant as one with an icon, that says "street merchant" and stand in/beside a stall. While it's true, that the fellow one the right is the only constant one as he's the only one, who...

Is it possible to conquer Isla Mona and Petit Tabac?

I guess, I'm headed for megalomania after conquering both Santo Domingo and Point a Pitre. Because while I've dreamt of conquering all of the Caribbean, since it became possible to keep a conquered town, the sight of my flag on the whole of Hispaniola apparently set off a desire to see that on...

Fixed Charlestown: how come these three street merchants don't have quick-action-icons?

Even in previous versions of build 14 the three street merchants, that occupy the street near the harbour are missing their identity icon, so one can't speak to them by using the quick action button, but have to enter the menu. It's not a problem with other street merchants in Charlestown...

Fix in Progress Mystery house in Charlestown: Robbers and no weapons zone give funny result

The mystery house in Charlestown is set to be a no weapons zone like most shops are. But because there is a situation, where robbers appear, everybody just stand around staring at each other.

Unconfirmed Bug Are these two shipyard-"things" bugs?

    1. If I start a new game and the problem persists, I will let you know. So 2. is deliberate?

Unconfirmed Bug Are these two shipyard-"things" bugs?

    1. If I try to exchange goods with a ship on shore leave, that ships sinks, when I leave the exchange-menu. 2. If I auction a prize ship, my crew is automatically replenished. I know the shipyard autohire crew during repairs, but I just sell my prize ship and ask no other service.

Fixed Is there a tailor in Governor's Harbour? And other map-related problems.

Have fun visiting brothels. I just pay interests with all the loansharks. :napoleon

Is is possible to board the Flying Dutchman in the quest "Elizabeth Shaw's disappearance"?

Yes, I've met it and have used the save-load-trick.

Is there a difference between the prices for the cargo from a prize ship, if I auction it with the ship or sell it to a trader?

Would one of you, who made the auction, algorithm tell me, if there is supposed to be more profit in auctioning a prize ship with its cargo or sell the cargo to a trader first and then auction the empty ship?

Is is possible to board the Flying Dutchman in the quest "Elizabeth Shaw's disappearance"?

About surrendered ships: during sea battles I've noticed, that while everybody else leaves surrendered ships alone, pirates keep attacking them. I assume, surrendered ships are set to belong to a nation neutral to everybody. But pirates are set to be hostile to everybody, which is the reason for...

Is is possible to board the Flying Dutchman in the quest "Elizabeth Shaw's disappearance"?

I read a post somewhere about, how the Flying Dutchman is near indestructable, but its cannons are very much not. So when I during "Elizabeth Swan's disappearance" met the ship near Cayman, I used my ships to shoot away at it. We succeded in cutting down the crew to about 6-7 people in a...

Fix in Progress Other complications with loansharks

I have checked both the loansharks in Santo Domingo and the La Tortue. With your updated loan-file, the both work perfectly. :thumbs1 The one in Grand Turk never caused any problems for me. I'll borrow my way through all the rest and let you know, if I find more complications.

    Native raft?

Thank you for your information. In an earlier version or build I encountered a mine. As you might imagine, that didn't go well.

Fixed Is there a tailor in Governor's Harbour? And other map-related problems.

That's what I thought. We players are very good at telling you, when something goes wrong. But you should also receive praise for all the good work, you have done. :flower Besides, I just discovered the "click the general map and get the local map" last week. Back to 3b. I seem to...

Fixed Is there a tailor in Governor's Harbour? And other map-related problems.

I must have made some kind of mistake. They are in my fast-travel-menu now. Good things in the latest builds: 4. Now getting directions from a local puts the places mentioned into the fast-travel-menu right away. Great! 5. The very interactive map over the archipelago. :bow:love It gives a...

    Native raft?

I've just come across a native raft in the waters around Antiqua. When I sailed closer to inspect it, the game informed me, that the funeral raft had already been plundered. Is is supposed to be some kind of the sea version of the chests on land? Or is there a possible quest here?

Fix in Progress Other complications with loansharks

Actually, my line of thinking went more along these lines: A poor seafarer early in the game wants to do a fetch quest. Borrows money from the loanshark on the home island of the artisan needing the goods. Sails to island selling the required goods and discovers the first loan doesn't cover the...
