It's ben asked before, but not definitively answered
On base level (Apprentice) I get Treasure Maps whole, never in pieces (and always with an "X"); the other kinds come in pieces. I've also found the prize without whole maps pretty easily - these are GOOD maps, especially for randomized rendering on the fly - but I'll bet the piece with the...- hintonwe

The wind
I'm noticing that my Brig seems to sail the fastest across the main map when the windspeed is very low- reversed in speed in fact; say it's a draggy 8 knots on the compass- the ship is flying across the screen, but switch to an attack and the ship drops to `dead-in`-the water on the combat map...- hintonwe
