Ahoy guys, 
First I want to say that I am highly impressed with the modding you've done. You changed the Pirates of the Caribbean game from being a rather mediocre game to not a whole new level, but to levels beyond that! This is the game how it should be and I'm really enjoying it.
However, playing Build 11.99e for a bit, I noticed some strange things:
- Apparently, when talking to someone who offers to learn you some fencing skills, the options for learning defensive and offensive seem to have been swapped. I selected offensive (the second from the top), but I got the message that my defensive skills had increased.
- By using the 'side-step' function, you can walk right through everything.
- 'Quick-savegames' have a "Bad Save" loge, but still do load when pressing F9.
- The Captain Jack Sparrow skin currently in the mod isn't the best available. Check out this version. I believe this is a second, improved version by the maker of the original one, but I could very well be mistaken here... I found it at the PirateHideout website.
- I can't add my nation's logo to my sails. Do you need a high class ship to be able to do that?
- I can't find the blacksmith on Douwesen! Any help?
Edit: Never mind. I already found him. When I first came to Douwesen in search of him, I arrived at night, so I missed him at the port and couldn't find him in the town. Silly me.
BTW: To reach Douwesen, I had to fight some pirates and one of them lost all theair masts. LOL!
Also: I thought up something that might make a nice new mod. I am unable to mod myself (I can only make 3D models ('sort-of'), but 3D Studio MAX doesn't work at the moment and I only model ships for another game, Virtual Sailor anyway - Come to think of it, maybe some of you might be interested in that game. It features several 'pirate-type ships as well. Maybe those could be converted to PotC?).
Anyway, in case anyone's interested in my mod idea, here it is:
I'm a big fan of the PotC movie and find it a shame that there isn't much movie 'tie-in' in the game. I was thinking, maybe the main storyline could be changed just a little bit to add more movie 'tie-in':
- Nathaniel Hawk (or whatever name you've given him) is actually Bootstrap Bill after he was thrown overboard the Black Pearl. He survived since he was cursed and was found by Malcolm Hatcher (who is captain of the lugger "Victory", who took a liking to him. Only he did lose his memory, so he doesn't know he is Bootstrap Bill anymore. He still is cursed though, which explains why he survives when he's killed or sinks, only he does get injured. When arriving in Oxbay at the start of the game, Malcolm doesn't want to sail anymore and gives the Victory to Nathaniel/Bootstrap.
- Replace the two "cursed pirates" in the "Deliver the chest" quest with pirates we know: Pintel and Ragetti, for example.
- Give the man on Falaise de Fleur dialog that is actually consistent with the movie (what he currently says doesn't agree what is known about the curse from the movie) and add the fact that he recognises Nathaniel as being Bootstrap.
- Make the blacksmith (who I cannot find) look like Will Turner and add a governor's daughter looking like Elizabeth.
- Add more music to the game, including tracks from the PotC movie, but possibly also music from other piratey movies (such as Cutthroat Island, Treasure Planet, etc.)
- Etc, etc...
If anyone is interested in doing something like that, please let me know. Though I can't help with the actual coding, I would be happy to help providing the dialogs and music.
