Using mods from pre_b13_base

I took some mods from pieters prebuild 13 into
age of pirates and it works, for example the little boat with 3 men it works just fine
i also took some weapons and changed its stats, also works but i cant get the weapons
to the traders, only to give it to the character trough:

characters init.c
GiveItem2Character(ch, "gun8");
GiveItem2Character(ch, "gun9");
GiveItem2Character(ch, "gun10");

if you want to try it yourself
replace ....yourinstalled\RESOURCE\Models\Ships\Boat
with \pre_b13_base\RESOURCE\MODELS\Ships\Boat
and yourinstalled\RESOURCE\Textures Boat.tga.tx
with \pre_b13_base\RESOURCE\Textures\Ships boat.tga.tx

the boat.tga.tx must be in \RESOURCE\Textures

cool, can you also transfer some swords of aop to potc, and then put it on the ftp, I WOULD LOVE to have a new saber and a replacement for the potc dagger(that dagger sucks)

Some of the traders now have the new weapons!

It is fairly easy to get new weapons into the game, but harder to give em icons and new sounds,
the iconsystem is totaly Castrated in comparison with Potc i think someone will fix this later when the modders of pieters build has started with it. "if they do"

About taking the weapons into the Potc Build, i think its not to hard with help of CCC`s items.ini
in january this year i tested to take some weapons from the Russian mod for Potc
Two axes and two swords "for something to find in the higher levels" of the game with a very little chance to find.

I gave the axes new slashing sounds and names and it whas easy to do.
but i never upploaded them, later i se someone else fixed in the axes in the game,

If you players out there whants them i can uppload some new weapons to the Aop-Ftp
The weapons i think to fit in:

(Jackass) = CCC´s Blunderbuss with an enhanced non exploding brasspipe . for some fun in the beginning
can be changed to Unique so its the only one, a more personal weapon, fits to the russian beatrices yellow hair!
i changed the texture to a brasspipe but i dont think the creator of the model will be mad at me for this!

(Executioner) = The russians topor 3 . axe to find around Lv 14 changed only the name
( the russians will love it... ;o)

vassal weapons something nice to find in the higher levels
(Musketoon) = Lv 16
(Musket) = Lv 20

If the weapons stats should be not to your liking its fairly easy to change trough items init.c
And att last but not least; i hope the original creators of these great mods will create a big mod for Aop such as prebuild 13..
and get the LuggerVML in to this game, The finest ship i have seen in a game,
