Seems like Spore has achieved road kill status.

Not only has EA pulled an accounting

um

err

fast one - worthy of the Pentagon - with its sales and user records

But its been reduced from $50 to $35 at <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Spore-Mac/dp/B000FKBCX4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1224310408&sr=8-1" target="_blank">Amazon.com</a>
and they are also including a free copy of the Prima Official Game Guide

Translation : "They cannot pay you to take it"


BTW does this somehow remind you of AOP and the Stupor Mod?

Interesting. I've not had a single problem with the game here. And I had the feeling it was a mighty popular game.
