Would like like a Babel Fish translation? I was just reading it. You figure it out from there, but I can get the gist of it and I'm rather impressed.

Keep in mind, this is a real rough translation from Babel Fish. But you get the idea ...

Hey everyone.

I've tried to make a list of lines to be translated, in order to make K3 into full english. If someone <b>knows russian and is willing to invest a little time</b> into helping, all of us playing AOP would very much appreciate it.

I did an automated comparison between original AOP and the K3 mod, so I could identify the changed files. I then looked through the modified files, and wrote down any new russian strings. If these new strings are translated, it would be possible to merge the translation with the AOP english files.

<b>I've attached a doc with the file names and line numbers.</b> I estimate it could be done on a couple days (6-8 hours).

Any takers, please contact me and I'll send the needed files (140 kb rar).

cpt. blackfeet already translated most files with a translation software. maybe the texts must be changed into "good" english but the mainpart is done. am i wrong?
 
I installed the cap's translation, but still couldn't make sense of it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> So I thought it might be better to translate it from russian, straight. Either way is fine with me ofcourse.

Whats missing from the cap's translation work are strings in code files. Such as in the game interface. Check the list, you'll see em <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
i deleted my upload named k9.. language switch version so we have just 1 working version and nobody is been confused ;D.
the most recent version seems to be the repack file from 13.09.
 
i updated the english addon for the k3_mod_v9.1 with some translated interface files:

I am changing the russian mod so it will work with both versions
russian and english: corsair 3 & Age of pirates

and "cleaning the crappy translation" up alot.
the drunkard is hard to translate but i figure it out!
to the help i have systran and a russian site for translate the code

i am going to add the posibility to install my addon with more weapons in it and
sounds, music, and other, it could take some more time to finish it have patience

I really have problems with starting the K3-Mod... Is there a possibility to start the K3 Mod without using daemon-tool ???
The problem is, that the files of the K3mod are cracked with an NoCD ,,,,
 
indeed that is a big problem, for the english version of the mod i recommend keeping the config.exe and the engine.exe out of the modpack also the Location.dll and Xinterface.dll modules from the original english need to stay, if you do that then you will have no problems but like i said guys keep it out of the english version of the modpack so it's easy for everyone not to accidently overwrite those 4 files.

lol, okay my inner 12-yr old just came out when reading the last two lines of files. Whore and whore boss dialog ... Ahhh, good to know I haven't been sapped of my youth yet.

Blackfeet, you mentioned you were using Systrans for the translation? How did that work for you?


People are still awaiting here in the US to receive their copy, so I know we'll have some more coders around to work on this soon. For now, we can all pitch in by taking a look at the files and seeing if there is anything we can do on the English version.
 
first i used babelfish and another crappy site. it didnt work out well as you see.

later i used:

this russian site is realy good for translating the code.

after translated code i use:
mr Bills Microzoft word in combination with Systran,
Systran works better then the "Fishy babel" or should i say
(babbel) in swedish it means babble or bullshit, but i cant recomend you to buy it for the price of 1.200$ .
there is other ways to get it. I can give you a clue, dont now if i am alowed to do this,! but if you take away the "s" in pirates and replace Ahoy with bay,, you might find it, also i am from sweden. you can find if searhing for it.

also i added in some hard language, mature most if you play as beatrice if you have a daughter dont let her play it without changing that first,,

finaly i managed to fix my broken hard drive and i am on it again,, you dont get rid of me so easy ;o)

Is it me, or are the dialogue files the only hold back from throwing this into the English folder? Everything else I've looked at has been in English ... well ... CODE I should say. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I'm an English freak, and I can see a lot of potential in translation. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
