What do I have to do to change my blaze character in AOP? I replaced the devlin file in the models folder and the blazen file in the textures folder with a the two files from a different model in the game, which i renamed as devlin and blazen. I was able to get the shape of the new character to show up, but not the texture. Am I possibly missing something? It wouldn't surprise me because I'm winging it. Thanks!

They are 2 seperate models, they overwrite nothing. So you have to change the line in CHARACTERS.INIT from model=devlin to model= BlazeNH for nathiel hawk and BlazeH for blond nathiel.

Thank you for the advice. I had been trying to replace my character with another character in the game. I bascically saved blazes model and texture files elsewhere and then took the model and texture files of say citiz_1 and renamed those files to blaze's file names. At first I could only get the model to show up and not the texture which left me stumped because I had no idea where else to get textures for my character other than the texture file. But then I realised that what was doing was I was using a character that wasn't in the game, one that I don't believe had proper textures. So then I used the french officer 1s model and texture files for blaze's and it worked just fine.

haha As you can tell it is still a lot of work to go and change the names on all of those files and it can get messy if you're not careful. So thank you so much for telling me about the character.init file. All I have to do is change the model="devlin" line to something like model="citiz_1" and it changes my character for me. haha Much easier than changing all of those file names. I'm definitely going to be having fun playing around with this one.

And good job with the skins that you created Thomas. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
