questions about build 13 "updates"

I know I need to start a new game after installing a new build but do I have to start a new game if I instal a build update? I see that build 13 7-19-06 update is out now and want to install it but I don't want to start a new game lol.

Well, it is always a good idea to start a new game when aquiring a new alpha(beta) fix. You can go on with the old game, but if you encounter glitches, don't blame it on the new version. Rather, start a new game as a test and see if the glitches encountered repeat themselves in the new game.

Well, I'm finally doing the main quest and I'm about halfway through it, no way I'm starting over just now. So I'll just roll the dice...
