Posted on the Bug Tracker, is the latest beta update for download.

You will need to install Pre Build Mod 13 base and the August 21st Update before you extract this archive onto your directory. Beta 5 is not required to already be installed, as it is included in this pack.

Pieter will be incorporating most (maybe all) of the fixes in this update into the next 'full update', along with a bunch of new mods and additions. It would be nice to test this update out first before that occurs.
 
This is the last pack of updates you will see from me.

I am taking my leave. Not a vacation this time, but an actual departure from the PotC bug fixing scene.

The time I spend on fixing bugs in this, is too much of my time I could be doing better things with my life. I simply do not have the interest that all of you have for this game.

This also isn't the only game I play, nor the only thing I want to do with my spare time. As such, I am only kidding myself, and everyone else, in continuing support for it.

If this update has any NEW nasty bugs itself that I caused, I will fix those, and they must definitely be the kind of bugs that prevent further play. Prior bugs that still exist... If I didn't fix them by now, I am not going too, sorry.

So, with that, this pack of updates is it for me. Someone else can surly replace me, I don't doubt that.

The Bug Tracker will remain active for as long as it is used. Someone other than ME is going to have to start using it, or it will just stagnate. Pieter has admin privs, so he can make anyone else an admin as well. Admins can control the site in its entirety without me. Don’t wanna use it? Fine... Just don’t expect everyone to remember a bug you reported ten pages ago in some mile long forum post. The tracker has been a driving force in tackling many problems. So use it, or lose it, your choice.

I want to thank you for all the work that you have done. You have been a great force in bringing the Pre BUild 13 pack much closer to a final Build 13 than I ever had dare hope for. So thanks a lot for your support, fixing, coding, etc. It has been most appreciated! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />

I also want to thank you for giving us the Bug Tracker. That has also made bugfixing much easier. And thanks for the offer of letting us keep using it! I would most certainly like to keep using it!

It is a big shame to see you leave, but if that is what you want, so be it. If you ever want to return, please do so. You would be most welcome. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

We will keep working on the modpack and I hope we will be able to release a playable Build 13 soon. If we do, I will tell you so that you might check it out if you would like to.
