My first impression: "Oh look. A cursed crew with a captain who seems to have problems with Jack Sparrow. Never seen that before." :rumgone

    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Indeed that trailer did not inspire me much at all. More zombies. More curses. More crazy stuff.

I strongly believe they did it best with the first movie, where the supernatural was not overdone and therefore felt special when it did show up.
That is far more interesting to me than a world in which there is craziness and zaniness basically everywhere, because then it is no longer special.
This is exactly the philosophy we have also implemented in PotC: New Horizons.
The supernatural does exist; but it is only here and there so that it remains.... well..... SUPER! ;)

I fully agree with this. ^

I enjoyed it because it felt like a refined take to the "paranormal".

Well I don't complain with seeing more jack sparrow :).

Fair point. Regardless of any imperfections, I'm sure it'll be entertaining all the same. :cheeky

Flying ghosts that can go through walls and kill people, why haven't they found Jack yet? And if they find him can't they just go through the ship hull and kill everyone in seconds? Or they need to have a gaint weakness I have to know off but so far they look more unkillable than the skeletons in movie 1.xD

Ok my first impressions, CAN'T WAIT, Ok now for my theory of the plot, they show medals on the ghost captains shirt indicating that he was once employed by a country, I am going to guess a pirate hunter, also when he is talking to the boy at the end he says "do you know this pirate" indicating to things, one he himself doesn't know jack, and the way he says pirate indicates that he is against piracy and is a pirate hunter. but ya I can't wait.
